The fact that the tour guide remembered all our names and included us into the tour and put humour Ito the tour well worth the money would recommend it to anyone young or old

Learning about guy fawkes , mad Alice was really brill and made the whole tour very entertaining , the tour was very informative, and great fun

It was a cold and very wet evening. Even though we had booked and paid in advance, we were wondering wether to give it a miss, but we did go and were really glad we did. Mad Alice was Mad 😀 and so knowledgeable that the cold and rain was the last thing we thought of. Thoroughly enjoyable.

We greeted in a friendly and personal way, as ‘Mad Alice’ had memorised the names of those who booked. The tour was very interesting and presented in a casual and humorous way. There were 12 people in total on the tour which made it more more personal. Some of the other tours operating on the same night had very large groups which looked much less inviting. Mad Alice’s warm and friendly presenting style kept your attention being funny at times by involving the group directly at times. Both my wife and I would highly recommend this tour.

Mad Alice was brilliant. Humourous and informative. Really enjoyed the tour. Learned a lot of York history and entertaining throughout.

Mad Alice, was by far one of the best tour guides I've ever experienced - kind, funny, helpful and wonderfully interactive! If you're generally sceptical of reviews, check her out on YouTube! We've been watching her tour episodes since returning home from York, and somehow, she's even better in real life! Only thing - we genuinely felt awkward for not carrying cash on the night, as we weren't able to offer a her well-deserved tip at the end. She never came across as expecting one at all though, and even offered to help direct people to their next destination at the end of the tour. This is a lady that genuinely loves what she does, and she's mastered it! Thank you, Alice!

The host is fantastic. She was charismatic and fun, and she made an effort to make everyone feel involved.

i liked how mad alice asked about who we all were and made chat as we travelled to and from locations! she was an amazing actor and told some awesome stories, can not recommend her enough she was wonderful and really brought the whole thing together
