Our second visit to the Riding School behind the scenes and it didn't disappoint. The horses live in absolute luxury. The horses are all beautifully cared for and placid. Look out for the unique bay.

Enjoyed every moment of it! Very informative and detailed on the Spanish horses and how they are bred! Tour guide Joshua was the best! Too bad we didn’t get a chance to actually see them on a show.

Spanish Riding School Tour Up Close and Personal

, Dec 2019
As avid horse fans and owners were in awe of the stables, arena, tack room, history and up close proximity to the beautiful horses themselves, that we were afforded. Our guide was knowledgeable, informative and passionate about the History and current day workings of the Spanish Riding School. We didn't think we'd have such access to the school grounds. It was a wonderful tour!

Expectation Not Achieved

I wasn't sure what my expectations were but the tour wasn't a real barn burner. The tour consisted of a stop inside the arena, the tack room and the stable there the horses are kept. The tour was barely an hour long and at the end, the guide thanked us and let us out a door onto the street. I don't know what I was expecting but was kind of like going to see friends and then escorting us out the back door. The only saving grace was that it was located on the square where some of the Christmas Markets are located and had lots of food and gifts ideas.

The tour and guide was great and the venue very nice and clean. The only disappointment was not being able to see the horses perform. At least they could have shown a couple of the horses perform.
