Musicians were excellent and church beautiful. They played two encores. Nice way to spend an evening. Lots of choices for musical performances in Vienna, but this is a great choice for the price. A relaxing experience.
Highly recommended!

Elegant fabulous and uplifting.

Couldn't recommend it more. I suggest you get there early to pick up tickets and go through the necessary Covid checks, proceed for a nice meal at one of the nearby restaurants so that you won't have to wait in the queue before commencement.

Classical Concert in St. Peters Church.

St. Peters Church is an absolutely beautiful church and a very fitting venue for a concert. Four young musicians played on a small stage in front of the altar. They were excellent and very talented. Eventhough I wasnt very familar with the music selection I thoroughly enjoyed it. It lasted for an hour, just right. We had a chair in the second row which was very hard and uncomfortable as time went on. The seats from the third row back had cushions on them and would have been a better choice. Our view was excellent and we could hear it perfectly. There was absolute hush while the string quartet played...cello/double bass, two violins and a viola. Cameras and phones were not permitted which was an added bonus which we hadn't realised at the time. On attending another venue the next night we watched the stage through other peoples i phones and i pads, how annoying. We attended in December so the church was cold and was a downside to the event. However the music made it worthwhile. We paid £48 for the ticket...a little bit expensive but we don't get to Vienna very often so you must do these things when you get a chance. There was no introduction to the music and had there been I think it would have engaged the audience a bit more to add that personal touch. We stayed around a little after the concert to gaze at the splendour of the Church. We met one of the young musicians who spoke to us in such a respectful and polite manner. My verdict. Thoroughly enjoyable but wrap up and get a seat with a cushion.
