We LOVED this bike tour. It was a great way to see more of the town. The food was yummy and our guide was informative and funny. Not a hard bike ride. I highly recommend this.
Bike ride with food! Great combination

Great tour. Thomas was great, very interesting and friendly. We had a private tour because no one else signed up. He took us outside the old town, to the harbour, the area known for Tallin Houses and a few other place off the beaten path.
We went to the new market area which was very cool.
He gave us good recommendations for dinner as well.
Fun ride, cool old town, and great hospitality and food

Biking the Old Town cobblestone streets on a mountain bike was a perfect way to enjoy the town and surrounding area. I especially enjoyed stopping at the food market, biking along the harbor, and seeing the medieval buildings. The tour ended with a nice spread of meats, cheese, potato salad, pâté, and beer above the bike shop.
Great Bicycle Tour

Great tour around Tallinn that we would not have otherwise seen. Thomas is a very good guide and has a lot to tell you.
Response from Host , Sep 2021
Hi James
Thank you for the booking and review. Indeed it was very pleasant ride and company. Seems that the tourism recovery is on a way and we get more and more direct bookings to our tours. People travelling again. And we love to show our neighborhood and tell about stories, taste local food and enjoy the company of travelers.
Pleasant bike tour.

The Old Town has too many cobblestones to navigate more than a couple of blocks so you tour the outskirts and harbor area. Delightful guide, great bikes and yummy food. It’s very flat and actually easier than walking some of the cobblestone hills in town. I loved the last yogurt , but not excited about the location.
A Great Food and Bike Tour of Tallinn

This experience was superb. My family and I (4) arrived in Tallinn by cruise ship. We had booked this tour through Trip Advisor, which let us to Viator. Our original booking was for a 1pm start. We had found out that we had to be back at the ship by 4:30. The ride was a 4-hour ride and this made us VERY nervous, soooo, we got to the bike shop early to see if they could accommodate us with an earlier ride. THEY DID!!! They were so wonderful about it.
We had a wonderful tour guide, Georg. He took the four of us around the city and we stopped at several places to sample the local foods. The 1st food stop was Kochi Ait and we ate a very delicious stew called Solyanka. Then we stopped at Kodukohvik and had cottage cheese with veggies and tasted a local drink call Kvass. After that we stopped at a local market and picked up some dried Moose!! Once we got back to the bike shop they had wonderful desserts and café prepared for us. This was the best tour. Georg was very warm and friendly. Easy to talk to and gave us a lot of local history. We definitely recommend this tour!!

Tour guide Thomas pleasant, knowledgeable and full of information regarding history past and present. He explained the food and it's importance to Estonian people. Large portions and yummy. Bicycles in good condition. Safety conscious. We were a party of 2 and were fortunate to experience parts of Tallinn that tourists normally would miss. If you're open minded and wanting to learn, this is a great opportunity to experience unique parts of Tallinn .

An excellent tour. An easy ride through Tallinn with a local guide that was friendly and knowledgeable of Tallinn and its history. We stopped along the way for light food and drink some great beer!. I'd recommend this to anyone that wants to get outside of old town Tallinn and see what else is happening in town.
I feel terrible it's been two weeks...

I feel terrible it's been two weeks since we did this and I'm just now getting around to giving it the accolades it deserves. It was pouring rain when we docked our ferry from Helsinki that morning. We were miserable. My companion was giving me the stink eye for having planned this tour. A few hours later, the rain had slackened and we made our way to the tour office. We were given rain coats and Christian our guide and just us two started out of old town. From then on, the tour was amazing. We saw so much of Tallinn we would've never seen otherwise. It was easy to bike this city even as novices and the rich history and excellent culinary accommodations made this trip spectacular. Late that evening, we took our ferry back to Helsinki feeling that we had sincerely made the most of our day in Tallinn. Flying back a week later to the states, I asked my travel companion her favorite part of the past 8 days and without a beat, she said the bike tour in Tallinn. I was redeemed.
This one of a kind biking food tour...

This was the BEST tour we've taken...

This was the BEST tour we've taken with Viator! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tallin. We booked it as a private tour so we could move it up earlier so we didn't miss our ship we were on a cruise. Mari and Thomas were our guides, and they were awesome! It rained most of the time, but we made it a fun experience. They took us to 3 cool restaurants to sample the local cuisine. Then we biked into Old Town and spent about an hour there. My boys, 15 and 12, said this was a highlight of their vacation!
We perform checks on reviews
You can only submit a review or rating of an experience to Viator if you were the person who made the booking through Viator. Before publication, each review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information for each of the following criteria: who, what, how, and when. If the system detects something that contradicts our publication criteria, the review is not published. When the system detects a problem with a review, it may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site. In some cases, we will also send you an email asking you to validate your review before it is published. All you need to do is click on the link provided in the email. After publication, our team checks each review reported to it as not meeting our publication criteria. Tripadvisor reviews that appear on the Viator site are subject to the same checks and moderation processes as set out above. It is not necessary to have booked an experience through Viator (or Tripadvisor) to submit a review of an experience to the Tripadvisor site.

Why you are seeing these recommendations
Sorting, ranking, and search results
Viator wants to make your searches as relevant as possible. That’s why we offer many ways to help you find the right experiences for you.
On some pages, you can select how to sort the results we display and also use filter options to see only those search results that meet your chosen preferences. You’ll see explanations of what those sort options mean when you select them.
You’ll see some experiences with a “Promoted” badge, which means that the operators of those experiences have agreed to pay Viator more to have their experience highlighted.
If you see an Experience Award Winner label, the award is based on average review ratings, share of bookings with a review, and number of bookings through Viator over a 12-month period.
The importance of any one factor over any other in a sort order varies, and the balance is constantly being reviewed and adjusted. We’re always updating our systems and testing new ways to refine and improve your results to make them as relevant as possible to meet your needs.
