    • Important: Please read Tallinn meeting instructions carefully. The meeting point is located outside the main port gate. Your guide will meet you there holding a sign with the logo of "BALTIC EXPERIENCE" so you will be able to easily recognize it.
    Meet your guide outside the gate of your cruise ship terminal at the Port of Tallinn and board a minibus for Old Town. Start your shore excursion with a drive along the defensive city wall past the medieval structures of the Great Coastal Gate and Fat Margaret's Tower (Paks Margareeta).

    On arrival, take a leisurely walking tour of the Estonian capital, strolling past merchant houses and buildings in Upper Town and Lower Town. See St. Olaf’s Church, an old pharmacy, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, and The Three Sisters boutique hotel. Follow cobblestone lanes to St. Mary's Cathedral, a domed church built in the 13th century. You'll learn about modern-day life and enjoy panoramic views from Toompea Hill.

    In the center of Old Town, set off for some free time to explore the town's charms independently. Your guide will specify a designated meeting point for the return trip to port to meet your cruise ship. Alternatively, you can choose to stay longer and find your own way back by taxi or on foot.

    This was an amazing tour of the city of Tallinn. We were able to walk the cobblestone streets of the upper and lower Towns with the assistance of our knowledgable guide. The views were absolutely gorgeous. We saw the Town Hall and Toompea Castle. We even saw a very very old pharmacy!! We made the best of our free time eating in the square at one of the outdoor restaurants and then visiting a lovely cafe for dessert!!

    The whole experience was diminished by the massive crowds. There were 4 ships in port all in the same place at the same time. In my opinion it wasn't even worth the stop, The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. But on a positive note it was worth the money spent.

    A walking tour is a great way to see Tallinn. We enjoyed the small group and would highly recommend this tour. Unfortunately for us, it started raining in the middle of the tour and we had to buy ponchos from a street vendor. Our guide was helpful and showed us where we could get cash at an ATM. She also found a cab to take us back to our ship. We were disappointed that we didn't have to opportunity to explore Tallinn for a few more hours.

    Could have done the tour by ourselves. A short bus ride to the center of old town then followed the guide walking through town with very little significant information. Then was left at a location with very little info of your actual whereabouts. A simple reading and study of the town map could have done the job.

    We had an excellent tour guide...Sandra. She was well versed in the history and was prepared to engage with the group and answer many tricky questions. We particularly liked her approach to adhering to time standards. A couple of our group were a little late early in the tour and following a pleasant rebuke all went well from there on. There were only 12 people on our tour compared with 30 on the cruise tours a much better way of seeing the sights.
