Excellent food tour

On Friday the 6th of March we went on a food tour with a guide called Ivana in Stockholm. The tour was from 14.00 until about 18.00. Ivana was an excellent guide and took us around town to various places where we tasted typical Swedish food. She was informative and very pleasant . Her English was good and all the food tasting was arranged ahead of time so no time was wasted waiting around to be served. We thought that the tour was worthwhile and seeing that it was winter, there were not so many tourists around. We were only four in the group so we had the guide to ourselves. This company has 2 tours every day and we chose the 14.00 tour which suited us . Enjoy. Robyn and Shani from Israel.

We had a great tour. Only five of us which is great for a walking food tour. Went to some great places and tried some different local food. It would be great if these tours had little maps so we can get back to some of these restaurants, food halls etc.

A lot of walking and the guide was not native to Stockholm so didn't offer the type of in-depth cultural information that we value.

Wonderful way of learning about Stockolm

This food Tour was a wonderful experience. We walked around the city and stop at 7 different places for food tastings. The samplings where all tasty: cheese at meat cuts, turkey meatballs, shrimp and herring, liquorice, chocolat and a whole Fika at a beautiful café in the old town. Our guide, Victoria, was super nice and was happy to answer all of our questions. She spoke excellent English and was all together charming. I would recommend this Tour to anyone that wants to learn about Swedish food and the history of the Stockolm. A great choice for your first day in the city.

food selection was very good. Guide was knowledgeable and spoke clearly. There was a lot of walking but she kept a good pace. Enjoyed it very much except for the final stop. The venue was good but the cinnamon roll was dry and not very much cinnamon in it!

My friend and I really enjoyed this tour and our guide Dara. There were 7 different stops throughout the center city/old town area that gave us a great sense of the food culture in Sweden as well as a ton of history and cultural information about Sweden and how Swedes live. Highly recommend- this was a fabulous activity to learn more about the city and delicious as well!
