The Pompei and Positano day trip was fantastic! It was a hot day in August but completely worth bearing the heat! Pompei was fascinating! A time capsule preserved by the the Mt. Vesuvius eruption. Our tour guide was SO informative and interesting. After Pompei, we were able to explore the gorgeous seaside town of Positano. We had 2 hours to eat lunch and take a quick dip in the ocean. The drive back was long but definitely worth it!

This was an excellent tour. Our guide, Matti, was very knowledgeable, and our archeologist guide in Pompeii, Ilaria, was also great. Two hours is really not enough to explore Pompeii completely, but that was the time available and we saw quite a lot. Given the heat, I don’t think we could have lasted much longer anyway. The tour was very well-organized, departures were punctual, and the 18-seater van was very comfortable. Positano is quite touristy, but the views on the Amalfi coast were stunning.

Great tour, organized, Cosimo was really nice and informative, and Brunella at Pompeii was very educational and friendly too. A quick run around Positano but worth it for a little escape from Rome. Had time enough for a meal and a swim. Recommended!

Supposed to be two different tour guides but one didn’t show up so the other one had to jump from bus to bus and did a terrible job. He told the same story twice because he didn’t remember which bus he was on.

Great Tour with it ! We had a great guide Antonella she is knowledgeable and made the experience great . The tour takes you through the Amalafi coast and a guided tour through Pompei. At Pompei we a local guide meets us there her name was Serena an expert guide with rich knowledge about Pompei she made our experience amazing through the historical sites and at the end she took us to the Pompei museum and showed us all the artifacts and the dead bodies (plaster ) . Amazing tour I highly recommend it , however it’s a whole day so wear comfortable shoes .

Pompeii should never be missed by visitors to Italy. Our Tour guide was excellent and actually went to college to study the Pompeii site. Her professor was working on the site, and she knew so much history about what went on at that time. The research on the site was fascinating as if you were going back 2100 years ago and visiting with your friends on the street. The Amalfi coast was beautiful and relaxing. Quite an amazing site, and our bus driver was very skilled, as the drive was very scary! Take the Pompeii and Amalfie Coast tour. A life time of memories!

Most certainly a long day but definitely worth the trip! The tour guide Chiara was extremely knowledgeable and had a good amount of content to share. The archaeologists Hillary at Pompeii was spot on and very enthusiastic about sharing the history with us. Two thumbs up! The bus was very comfortable for the drive and had good air conditioning. My only thought was that it got a bit too cold on the way back. But we were dealing with extreme heat this week so it was appropriate. Excellent tour and well worth the money.

Positano was beautiful! However if you want to explore and shop I would skip a sit down lunch and just grab a pizza or sandwich to go. Pompeii was Amazing! I didn’t realize how well preserved the city was after more than 2000 years!

Very well organised, guide Anna and driver Bruno were very pleasant and helpful, Anna was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the tour and also the guide in pompeii was very good, the only downfall was the short time to spend in positano, there was so many shops and so little time

Pompeii is fascinating; the guide was knowledgeable and made the tour fun and interesting. Our trip tour guide, Andrea, did an amazing job of pointing out the sites and their history during the trip. He made sure that we knew our way back to the motorcoach in Positano without getting lost. There was a stop along the way to buy snacks and use the restroom. The driver was so competent in navigating the narrow winding road along the beautiful Amalfi Coast. This small group experience was a pleasant way to spend the day.

The trip is literally on the bus it's 1 hour in Pompeii in the hot but the tour guide was awesome. For positano, it was 2h which is really really not enough keep ur money do ur own trip it was not as expected .. it was 7 hours on the road and 2 hours in positano and 1 hour in pompei.. clearly not worth it, overall the guides were good and had a lot of knowledge

Wonderful guides, very nice small tour bus, safe driver and lovely overall experience. One thing to keep in mind is that due to the distance, the “free time” in Positano is limited and this is a very long day. But the guide at Pompeii was so lovely and engaging with kids and despite the crazy heat, we had a wonderful experience.
