Waterfalls and Scenic views
Blake_S
, May 2022
Latourelle falls I think was my favorite. Standing under a waterfall in the rain and mist after a walk down a scenic trail. Multnomah and other stops we made also nice. We went farther in the Colombia River Gorge and made more stops there as Mt Hood was snowed in late in the year unexpectedly. All in all, a really enjoyable tour, within the manageable range for someone with a bad knee. :) TJ, as with the other tours we took with him, made it fun, and looked after us by dodging a coyote that darted in front of the tour bus :)
Fantastic tour and tour guide

Our tour guide TJ makes up 90% of this great experience, though the scenes are just as wonderful. You'll know you're in good hands as you meet him. I believe I'll still enjoy the journey even if he just took us to the middle of nowhere haha. Just one piece of friendly suggestion: if Mt. Hood is (again) covered in clouds and invisible, just walk a little, take some pictures, and the clouds might go away to reveal Mt. Hood. We spent most of our time inside the lodge and missed that scene. When we went out, the clouds just went back again. But then again, thanks to TJ, we did have an interesting tour inside the lodge too.

Great fun and education

Our guide TJ was amazing. Knowledgeable, courteous, with a great sense of humor. He took us to several small stops not on the itinerary to give us a better understanding of the area around the gorge and Mt Hood. If you only have time for one tour while in the Portland area this should be the one you take. As a 5th generation Oregonian JT has a true sense of the history of the region.

Wonderful experience!

TJ, with Infinite Oregon Tours, was our tour guide and we can not say enough wonderful things about our experience. His tour skills and the overall tour to the Columbia Gorge Waterfalls and Mt. Hood were top! We had a full day with a wonderful narrative of local history, great picture taking opportunities, and felt welcomed and safe the entire day. We do hope to return to this wonderful part of the country and when we do we will be seeking TJ for more tour experiences.
