Desert Fun!

Great tour thru the desert, beautiful scenery, diverse trails and fun utv’s. We went in January when the desert was green and the weather was perfect, would recommend.

Worthy new experience

Our family did not know what to expect because it was out of our norm. We had a five person UTV. My husband and I took turns driving which added to our experience. There was intermittent rain which made the path wet and muddy. Part of our group took an accidental detour off the path up a really bumpy hill…it was great even though I wasn’t sure we would make it. My family had a great time.

Amazing Sonoran UTV guided tour
, Dec 2021
This was our first time riding the UTV (utility task vehicle) and first time in the Sonoran Desert. We checked in 1 hr early so we avoided the crowd since this was the week between Christmas and New Year. I imagined the desert to be more flat and full of sand, like in a movie, but this desert (or at least this part of region) is mountainous and rocky. Our trip was at the end of December which happened to be the rainy season so the trail was muddy. The temperature was in the 50s and slightly windy. I would recommend warm layers but not so nice clothing as the mud will be splashed onto you. We were provided with a head covering, a helmet and goggles which proved to be useful as a shield against the cold temperature, sand and mud. The UTV was a truly rugged vehicle, graciously glided from rock to rock, thanks to the humongous suspension system, yet still giving the riders a pretty comfortable ride. The tour guides, Bryan and Nick were warm, attentive and full of fun facts. It was surely a rough ride, not meant for pregnant ladies. I would do this again.
Best UTV ride ever!!!

We had amazing time and my granddaughter (6 years old) got to experience something new with a wonderful group. It was just about 2 hours of fun trails both up and down the mountains. My granddaughter kept saying “go faster” to say the least she enjoyed it!! Would recommend for families

My group had some issues finding the place. We did the 4 person UTV guided tour but there was no real instruction with how to drive them and the trail to take. There is only one trail, one way in and one way out. Most people are inexperienced so it was a lot of chaos especially around the 11am hour which is the time slot we chose.. If you are used to bring in control or driving an ATV finely do that, not the 4 person. But the scenery was magical for a first time visitor to the state. Best advice would be bring an expect driver.
Time to get dusty.

We had a great time. James was an awesome tour guide. Beautiful area to drive a UTV. I was a spur of the moment decision to go and I’m glad we did. Everyone was very friendly and professional.
