The tour consisted of some history of the writing of the Declaration of Independence, the Liberty Bell, and other historical points of interest along the way in no particular order. If you want to.see the Liberty Bell and inside Independence Hall you have to go back to each one separately. A couple of good places for Philly Cheesesteaks were pointed out and we tried one which was good.

The tour guide made the excursion. He is a professional guide and has done this tour many times. What the extra he provided that you can't get via google is, he made the historical people that he talked about into real people that we can relate to oppose to a bio description. The guide did his research and since he has done this several times added some showmanship to the presentation.

My husband and I had a layover in Philadelphia and our flight home was canceled. We made the best of our time there and decided to do a tour of the historical sights. It was a Monday morning and nobody else signed up, so we essentially had a private tour of city. William was very knowledgeable and could tell us anything about any building we happened to pass. He had answers to all of our questions and even told us where to go for the best Philly cheesesteaks (Marino Bros). It was an amazing experience and I would recommend this tour to anyone.
