Good cruise for it’s value..

Great experience overall, but wouldn’t consider it a 5-star. Was a great low-cost option to tour the Hudson, and overall it fulfilled its purpose. Somewhat crowded experience, indoor seating and bar area could use a bit of TLC… but I would say that this didn’t hinder our ability to enjoy the boat ride.

Skip this one. Take the tour to the Statue that lets you get off on Liberty Island.

Boat had too many people . Too many people on board. And seriously people you can’t go for a one hour cruise and not eat? The constant food order interruptions could be heard over the loud speakers and so you could NOT hear the story of the Statue.

Not worth.

It was not worth at all. The cruise was very crowded. Did not get a good view at all from any side. Better take the crises near the battery park.

NOT ACCESSIBLE
Stacy_H
, Jul 2022
I can not actually rate the cruise itself. The description clearly states that it is wheelchair accessible. However, when we arrived with my daughter who uses a power wheelchair we were turned away. I was told “we didn’t mean that kind of wheelchair”. The entrance to the boat was completely inaccessible and they said the boat couldn’t handle the weight. We would have never pre- booked and paid for tickets, hired an expensive Uber and spent a good part of our day getting to the boat if we had known. Please don’t list things as wheelchair accessible when they aren’t. They did issue us a refund but we don’t get the time back not to mention my daughters disappointment as this was a graduation gift.

Scam

Bad entrance, the guide was not to hear. I paid 80 per person. Other people not more than 30. I feel scammed. It was the most horrible experience in New York.

This was a lovely boat experience. You can sit inside at tables or go outside, though it’s a bit crowded. Best views are at the front right side, though if you want a pic at the statue, you can ask people to give you an opportunity too. The boat assistant also helps you get a pic in. They didn’t stay at the statue for too long, which was a bit disappointing, as everyone is trying to quickly get a pic in from a decent view. It was a nice boat ride though and we passed lots of magnificent buildings. I was particularly fascinated by the jenga block building. You can buy drinks at the bar and snacks, as well as souvenirs. The boat does rock quite a bit while standstill and people are boarding, so if you’re queasy, keep this in mind. It does improve though once the boat is on the move. There is a lady that gave a guided tour of the bridges that we passed, but we could hardly hear her, so probably be great if the mic/speaker volume was increased. Had a great time overall and 60 mins is more than enough time.

Very bad experience. Not...

Very bad experience. Not enough outdoor room to see the views and even the limited outdoor space has a roof so you need to go to the edge of the boat to be able to get a good view of the statue. Couldn’t take good pictures

The views were great. Unfortunately there is no parking lot there, only street parking, even after being told by Viator by email that there is parking there. The outside space on the boat is small and crowded. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Seeing Statue of Liberty was great. There was no nearby parking and that was very stressful. Nothing. Workers on boat weren’t friendly. Windows we’re dirty

Seeing Statue of Liberty was most impressive part of the tour. I however thought the tour guide announced many items way before we could see them & was hard to understand. Also the chairs on the deck were soaking wet. Also not easy to understand when booking. I thought I was booking just the tour & found out after I checked out that I got the tour & the observatory.

The boat left half an hour earlier than the stated booking time leaving about 50 people sitting in the hot sun with no shade or facilities to use. I called the contact line and spoke to a woman twice, where eventually she had tried to say I missed the boat and no refund, when in reality the boat left half an hour early. She tried to say it was my fault for being late when I was very early and physically saw the boat leave half an hour early! (I was there at 4 and I was booked for 4.30 the boat left 4:05!) then she hung up on me. Very poorly run and poor customer service. The ferry itself had large amounts of dirty smoke coming from the back of it onto all of the guests and looked over crowded and disappointing. I don’t even want to do the tour now.

Worst experience ever....

Worst experience ever. Boat was supposed to show up at 4:30 pm and it didn’t show up until after 5:00 pm. We didn’t board until like 5:40 and then they tried to rush the tour. There was no remorse or apologies for them being very late. Not to mention the boat was rocking the whole time.
