My husband and I toured with TOP during the 4th of July weekend. We were truly impressed with the tour and visiting a few of the “off the beaten path” Memphis African American sites. Ms Jackie, our tour guide, was very entertaining and knowledgable. We highly recommend the tour.

Exceptional tour!

This tour was the highlight of our trip! We loved learning the history of Memphis and truly value the perspective that we gained. The experience was amazing from the very start. Our GPS wasn’t working right so we called the number provided and Carolyn immediate answered (no automation!) and stayed on the phone with us until we arrived at the starting point. Miss Jackie was our tour guide and we can’t say enough about how amazing she was! Her passion for the city and it’s history was so apparent. She also wowed us with her amazing singing voice. You're visit to Memphis would not be complete without taking this exceptional tour!

Ms Jackie is a most unusual tour guide, full of knowledge and very outgoing and personable. If your lucky she might even sing her song “Souldance” for you. BTW you can check it out on you tube! We saw so many important places in Memphis and America’s ongoing quest for civil rights. We followed the tour up with a visit the next day to the National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel. Very moving and having the background from the tour was a great foundation.
