Depart central London by air-conditioned coach and venture into the English countryside. As you travel, hear interesting facts about the region and your first destination — the prehistoric monument of Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain.

On arrival, enjoy time to explore this atmospheric site at leisure. Head inside, collect an informative audio guide, and ride the shuttle or follow the pathways to the UNESCO-listed stones that date back some 4,500 years.

Marvel at the gigantic stones and ponder how they were transported and raised here. Then, learn how and why Stonehenge was built — most scholars believe it formed a temple aligned to the sun — through the archaeological exhibitions and audiovisual experiences at the visitor center.
Next, continue west to the 18th-century city of Bath. All honey-stoned townhouses, terraces and bridges, this UNESCO-listed city is one of England’s crowning glories.

Enjoy the afternoon to explore this delightful city independently. Perhaps delve into the handsome streets to admire the Georgian architecture, seeing top Bath attractions such the Royal Crescent, Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge that spans the Avon River.

Alternatively, upgrade to visit the Roman Baths, one of the world’s best-preserved sets of Roman remains. Explore the Great Bath and museum, and discover how the Romans built and expanded the complex over Baths’ natural springs from the 1st century AD.

Or, perhaps upgrade to visit the Jane Austen Visitor Centre. The much-loved English novelist lived in Bath in the early 1800s, and this fascinating museum chronicles her life and works through documents, artifacts and interactive experiences.

Lastly, return to London, where your tour ends with a drop-off near Victoria rail station.

Bath and Stonehenge are amazing. Tour process a little unorganized though…
Kathy_C
, Aug 2022
Bath and Stonehenge were amazing places and we really enjoyed them and happy we did it. The only complaint was they were unorganized in passing out tickets to Stonehenge and The Roman Bath tours when we arrived. They made you take the walking tour to get your entrance tickets to The Roman Baths. The town was small, so we would have preferred to explore on our own at our own leisure. The tour guide was amazing though, she was funny, knowledgeable and we loved listening to her

The guide was great and the bus was very comfortable. We had a great time. It is a long day so don’t plan anything for the evening, but it is well worth it! Stonehenge is incredible and Bath is such a picturesque town.

Our tour guide was amazing! He was so informative, pointed things out as we were driving to both locations. So friendly, funny - would highly recommend. Loved seeing Stonehenge - and definitely get the tickets to go inside the Roman Baths - worth it!!

Great tour and guide! Minibus was very nice and more intimate than a larger tour bus. We had a great combination of knowledge from our guide and “free time” to explore some on our own.

way too long in Bath, not enough time in Stonehenge
Debbie_P
, Aug 2022
Although our tour guide, Steve, was excellent and very knowledgeable, we felt that we were rushed through Stonehenge and spent way too much time in Bath. We did not have enough time before our entrance time to the Roman Baths to even grab a sensible lunch. We felt rushed through the first half of the day and then got to dread the last part of the day. We were told to meet at the bus pickup spot at 5:00 to find out that the driver would be 20 minutes late, which is fine when you aren't standing in 33C heat with nowhere to sit. Apparently there is a policy about the driver requiring a 3 hour break in between the drive to Bath and picking us up. Which is odd because we were dropped off just after 1:00 pm. Again, not to take away from our tour guide because he was fabulous.

Absolute joy this Stonehenge and Bath tour on August 13th 2022. Our guide and driver were simply excellent. I appreciated that we had sufficient time to fully enjoy both locations without rushing. The historical knowledge and sens of humor of our guide were so much appreciated. Totally recommendable!

Our tour guide was so smart and fun! The tour was very thorough — Stonehenge was amazing (and you got plenty of time there) and Bath was amazing. I really enjoyed it!

Stonehenge rocked
James_M

Stonehenge was remarkable, spent approximately 90 minutes which was adequate. Roughly 4 hours in Bath was sufficient. Nice walking tour of the town. Roman Bath’s were interesting and the local restaurants and shops were plentiful but not over priced. Our guide Toby was very good and had great knowledge of the areas we visited.

A great tour with Ben and Carlos
Dan_A
, Aug 2022
We did the tour, with two adults and two kids aged 13 and 10 on July 20th with Ben as our guide and Carlos as our driver. It was exceptional! Ben was witty, thoughtful and informative and Carlos was his willing foil - not to mention very skilled at maneuvering a double decker coach along the narrow winding roads between Stonehenge and Bath. The Stonehenge stop was nearly flawless - plenty of time to wander around the site (although not quite enough time to visit the museum). Bath was also excellent and after we'd spent a good amount of time in the museum and wandered around the city a bit, Ben took us on a very fun walking tour that got us to one of Bath's gems, the Royal Crescent adjacent to Victoria Park. Pretty much everything went according to plan, and while we don't usually take coach tours, this is certainly one we would recommend.

A fantastic tour BUT bring a snack
Travis_H
, Aug 2022
An amazing day tour from London! Our guide Leon was wonderful! He had tons of knowledge and wit that kept you entertained on the bus ride to the site visits. The two site visits really fill the day in well without having to rush every single moment. I will say that you really should bring a snack because there aren’t food breaks built into the tour itinerary. I didn’t realize this beforehand and wasn’t able to get food until about 4:00 pm.

Lackluster
Morgan_D
, Aug 2022
While the places are interesting, the drive to and from was very long and uneventful. It was a long day, made worse by the lack of air/ventilation on the bus on our way to Bath. Stonehenge doesn’t really have much to do beyond looking at the stones, and while Bath was nice, we had little guidance on where was best to eat/shop/look around. Ultimately, both trips would have been better off having their own day as we would have gotten more from the trip.

Not necessarily a family-friendly tour
Tim_I
, Aug 2022
We took our 3 year old on this tour, and unfortunately sat next to a company outing. 17 people drank and partied the entire day. Definitely not a family friendly atmosphere. I would have liked the tour operators to have controlled the situation more.

Great tour of Stonehenge and Bath!

, Aug 2022
We had a great time on the tour! We really liked that you were free to do what you wanted at each location! Our guide Leon was very informed and delivered information in an enjoyable way! We weren’t given any information about free wi-fi on the bus, but besides that minor detail the rest of the tour was brilliant! Great sights to see!

If I could ask for Zozo and Alfred again, I would!

Really the best thing about this tour was our guide Zozo and our driver Alfred the Great! I am amazed at how knowledgeable and energetic Zozo was. He gave us a lot of good information and even a walking tour of Bath. Everything was organized and executed without a hitch. And of course Alfred was a wonderful driver. He was absolutely delightful in safety and efficiency.

Two great places to discover
Danielle_B
, Aug 2022
Our guide Steve was very attentive and had a great sense of humour. The driver Tony was also very skilled. I was pleased to discover two fascinating destinations, both very interesting (Stonehenge and Bath). I would have liked to spend a bit more time in Bath, a gorgeous city. I cannot imagine having gone to a third place in a day (another option often offered)

Great tour to Stonehenge and Bath
Brittanie_W
, Aug 2022
Great tour to Stonehenge and Bath! Very knowledgeable guide (Ari); she shared lots of information and also made of point of checking in on all the participants throughout the day. Have to mention that the AC on the bus broke, so it was pretty warm (I'd estimate at least 90F/33C) on the drive to Bath. But parking in the shade seemed to help cool things down and the drive back to London was much less uncomfortable. Both guide and driver tried to fix the problem, but it was beyond their expertise. Appreciate their problem-solving and attempts to make everyone more comfortable.

Great tour
Rebecca_W
, Aug 2022
This was a great tour and well organized. There was plenty of time to enjoy both locations without feeling rushed. The 1.5 hours at Stonehenge was more than enough time to see Stonehenge, take plenty of picture and view the exhibit. In Bath, we were able to sit down and have lunch on a patio before visiting the Roman Baths. We had plenty of time to wander around Bath at our leisure after we finished the Roman Baths.

I should have downloaded audio guide for Stonehenge in advance. Connection was not great there. But overall the tour was great 😊
