A Must Do!

The two continents food tour was the best decision I made for my first trip to Istanbul. My guide, Ayse, was absolutely wonderful. She did an extraordinary job navigating us through the city to the different restaurants while also keeping us entertained with her extensive knowledge on the history of the cuisine and Istanbul itself. The food was absolutely exquisite. These places are so good you will want to go back for more on following days. I won't ruin the surprise of the dishes, but just know to arrive with a very empty stomach. And remember to pace yourself, because there is a lot of food coming your way. This was truly an amazing experience! If you want to taste true Turkish cuisine while also learning a lot about the history and culture this is a must do. I promise, you will not be disappointed.
First tour you have to made in Turkey!

Excelent choice as a first experience in Turkey if you want to know what to eat. From breakfast to dinner and a special hang-over snack description. Our tour guide Aysha was very welcome, exceeded our expectations; we like to taste what the local eat. She introduced to friendly locals. Of course we taste the Baklava and the turkish maras.
Lovely Foodie Experience!

Highly Recommended! Ayesha, our tour guide was great. She showed us lots of fun places, sampling so many food items. Explaining local customs and traditions and greetings. Good pace and appropriate stops. Walking is required. Ferry ride included, both ways to and from the Asian side of the city. Do this first or second day of the tour to know the good spots, I would say. Maybe adding optional alcoholic drinks spots would be great. Highly satisfied and shared good laughs with a small group of people.

Go! Wonderful experience some of the culinary twists that Turkey, Istanbul in particular has to offer. Ayse Uram was a magnificent host and per the sharing off coffee & food I expect at least a 40yr friendship.

Aysa was our guide and she was awesome! We loved tasting foods in both the European and Asian Sides, and even though there were items I don’t normally eat, I tried anyways and they were excellent! I would take this tour again. Only recommendation is don’t schedule anything for after, so you have time to relax and enjoy Karikoy. We booked a tour for later and felt rushed and would have loved more time there instead!

Zeynep cared about making our first day in Istanbul a culinaric highlight! 10 stops were way too much - maybe one or two less in favour of having more time to enjoy the other ones.
A taste off the beaten path

After 7 days in Istanbul it was the highlight of our trip. We loved the hip and trendy Asian side of Istanbul and our guide was excellent as was the food. Bring your appetite.

Great way to see the city and get specific details about Turkish cuisine. With the smaller group sizes you can meet new people, navigate the city, and feel like a local.
