After meeting your guide for a pickup from your central hotel in Istanbul, climb aboard your luxury coach and head to the Spice Bazaar. Along the way, hear alluring stories of Istanbul.

Arrive and wander this myriad of shops and stalls seeing a variety of fruits, nuts, vibrant spices, and enjoying captivating aromas. Try some treats and snacks and then walk with your expert guide to the small Rüstem Pasha Mosque to admire its walls covered in beautiful blue Iznik tiles.

From here, head to your boat for a sightseeing cruise at the inlet to the Bosphorus Strait and Golden Horn, which splits European Istanbul apart. Get your camera ready to snap selfies as your boat traverses past Istanbul’s top attractions. See the vast Bosphorus Bridge, Rumeli Fortress, and Dolmabahçe. Then, gaze over towards the Asian coastline and relish views of mosques and elegant mansions.

In the afternoon, hop off your boat in Asia on the Bosphorus coastline for a delicious 3-course lunch at a scenic restaurant. Drinks are also available (own expense). See the sample menu for details.

Next, climb by coach to Istanbul’s peak, Camlica Hill, and savor a stunning panoramic vantage point that captures the elegance of Istanbul. Continue back across the Bosphorus Bridge for a guided tour of Dolmabahçe Palace. Learn about the Ottoman sultans that once lived here. Then, glimpse into a world of opulence and luxury as you saunter by chambers, the Crystal Staircase and revel at the gaudy array of the sultan’s wealth in Medhal Hall.

Leave the palace and head back to your hotel by coach where your tour ends.

Note: Dolmabahçe Palace is closed on Mondays and is replaced with a visit to St. Chora Church museum.

A good tour

The tour is amazing we loved it going from Europe to Asia just crossing the Bosphorus it’s very exciting 😊😊. The only thing we dislike was our tour guide he wasn’t kind enough always in a rush, telling us hurry it’s no enough time for pictures etc.

My favorite day in Istanbul!

We started the tour at a small cafe overlooking the entire city! We had some coffee while our amazing tour guide Lutfi gave us a bit of the history of the city. The tour also passed through the spice bazaar where we were able to try different teas and Turkish delights. We were given some free time to roam around and then our tour guide met us for the next portion. He was very knowledgeable on teas and foods and would encourage us to try new things. My other favorite part of the tour was the Dolmabahce Palace. We were able to walk through with Lutfi giving us info throughout the palace and also sharing historical facts about the palace and the people who lived there. I also appreciate that even when we were stuck in traffic for a bit, our tour guide gave us info on surrounding neighborhoods, gave us recommendations, and also gave insight on the beautiful culture of Turkey. Lutfi was very kind and also knew when to sprinkle in some humor. He is very knowledgeable and is so excited to share this city with everyone. I highly recommend our friend Lutfi! I cant wait to keep in touch with the new friends made on this tour!

This tour has been the highlight of our trip to Istanbul, I can't recommend it enough! Our guide Lüftfullah was waiting for us at the hotel lobby on time and promptly took us to Pierre Loti Hill for some amazing views of the city. He was very informative with many stories and anecdotes about the history of Istanbul. For luch we went to a great restaurant in Uskudar. After lunch we ended the tour at Dolmabache palace, a true wonder. Our guide Lüftfullah was amazing and made the touran incredible experience we won't forget.

Double check before Booking
Wilson_W
, Oct 2021
Seriously think twice before booking. Double check with the tour operator if its a public or a private boat. seriously if you were to do the trip yourselves it wouldn't cost 2/5th of the price we are paying. Dolmabahce Entrance fee + public ferry + lunch + transportation = ?? just do the math and see. Our guide was very informative which i have to admit.

Dear Wilson, Thanks for your review. We are sorry to hear that you thought the Bosphorus cruise is with private boat, which is technically impossible in a regular tour. We are performing our regular tours with small groups, and our main purpose has always been your satisfaction, and giving the best service of the city with the best guides. We are glad to hear from you and your guide that you enjoyed the tour. Best regards

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY- poor service from operator and Viator/Trip Advisor
Amy_J

Would give 0 stars if I could. Full-day tour was only a couple of hours. They told us to be ready at 8 am but did not show up until nearly 10 am (we were the only people on the tour). They told us that, per the govt, the boats were not running. We asked if they could recreate the experience to the fullest extent possible--e.g. still go to Uskudar via car or boat since we had a van and THERE WERE MANY BOATS running on the Bosporus. They seemed annoyed when we said we did not want to go to the Blue Mosque or Hagia Sophia instead (we had future bookings for those). We asked if we could still see Uskudar. They ignored our request. We went to the palace and lunch and stopped for 5 minutes at another church-- started around 10 and over around 1:30 pm. After the tour was over we found a boat that took us on the Bosphorous (plus our guide told us he took the ferry to meet us) --so "no boats running per the government" cannot be true. Not only that, but Viator/Trip Advisor never responded to my request for a partial refund. When I followed up they said it was denied for quite some time. I let them know that the information from the tour operator was inaccurate, and they denied the request a second time because I "consented to the new plan." Dishonest and not interested in customer service. I have taken a lot of tours with Viator. Never again.

Dear Amy, Thanks for your review. We would like you to know that we are so sorry to hear we could't match your expectations. Istanbul was under curfew on that Sunday for Turkish citizens, and we tried to do our best by taking special permission to organise the tour. There were only one company who was allowed for cruise tour, and they also cancelled it at very last moment. The boats running in the Bosphorus were not for cruise, but just to pass from one side to another. We received positive feedback from our tour guide on the tour day, so we couldn't have time to do anything to compensate this situation. Your reviews are very important for us. Best regards
