Wonderful experience all around!

Everything on this tour is wonderful! They truly think of everything to make the experience seamless for example wireless ear phone to hear what the tour guide is saying in the busy city and market. Carmela (our Italian host/cooking teacher) was amazing and so fun and full of life! Olivia our tour guide was also amazing and gives just enough info in a fun way but not too much about the city/history/etc. The food, cooking experience and view was all wonderful! I would definitely recommend this special tour!

We really enjoyed this tour while visiting Tuscany. We went shopping at the local market and tried samples of many different foods while buying all the ingredients for the delicious meal we learned to prepare. After the class we had a delicious meal and wine on a patio with an amazing view. Luca is so nice and very funny and sweet. This was our highlight of our visit to Tuscany.

MUST DO IN FLORENCE!!!! Favorite part of our trip!

MUST DO! Luca and Carmella are wonderful! It’s like when you have a teacher who is fun and passionate about what they do it makes the students learn and have a great time, this is them! Luca is vibrant and brings joy everywhere he goes! He took us through the market and everyone knew him and had the biggest smile when they saw him! We learned a lot from him there! Then up at the beautiful location on the hill with the amazing view we met Carmella and she danced and sang as she taught us and was just an absolute joy! He had a blast cooking and laughing and learning so so much! My husband and I are very excited to try cooking these amazing dishes at home! What an experience and fun way to experience more of Italy’s culture!

An Unlikely Lesson in Family Cooking
Spyro_S

Carmela and Lavi brought an incredible energy to a personal and familial cooking class. Lavi was quick to go above and beyond questions asked no matter how benign. Carmela, despite not speaking English, was able to communicate and connect with everyone in the class. Beyond a doubt one of my favorite experiences in Italy and one that I will cherish for a very long time.

This tour started with meeting our host, Luca, and we knew right away this was going to be a great experience. Luca was animated, funny and informative. Our trip started with a walk through Mercato Centrale to pick up ingredients for the meals we would later learn to cook. Then took a bus to a lovely estate with an indoor/outdoor cooking area where we met our second teacher, Carmella. These two as a team were great teachers and so much fun! We learned to make bruschetta, tuscan ragu, homemade pasta, roasted pork and potatoes and lastely, tiramasu. The meal was served with a great Chianti. We had an absolute blast on this trip and it made visiting one of our favorite destinations even more memorable. Thank you Carmella and "Luca, we love you!" :)

We had a lovely time learning and cooking with Luca and Carmela! The estate was beautiful and made for a lovely backdrop to spend the day. The kitchen was airconditioned (very important when its 40 C) and the food and wine was delicious. Luca was a very engaging and entertaining host. We learned a lot and had a unique Tuscan experience. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I with limited cooking experience went on this tour in 42 degree heat and had an absolute blast. Tour guy was one of the best I have ever had - “Luca we love you”. Estate was lovely too, great red wine at lunch. Side note - Thought we would pick up more ingredients at the markets (only Tomato and Bread).
