Fantastic trip through Scotland

Barry was a fantastic driver. He kept us on schedule, explained a great deal of Scottish history, and even treated us with a few surprise stops! He also kept his cool after we got cut off by some bad drivers, but he was a pro and kept us all in great spirits. Would go with him again!

Our guide, Robert was amazing! He is funny, very knowledgeable. It’s not very often you see someone wearing a kilt who has dreadlocks! LOL Robert managed to squeeze in a few extra stops along the way but that then reduced the time we would have had in Loch Ness for a boat tour

Great time touring the highlands and Sky led by our wonderful guide, Graham. Overall good experience except the bed & breakfast place assigned to me is substandard.
Beautiful Scotland
, May 2022
I am not big on giving reviews, however this time around I made an exception. My daughter booked us a round trip tour from Edinburg to Isle of sky on Highland experience tours while vacationing in Scotland. If you are not someone who appreciates nature then this tour is not for you. However for nature lovers this tour experience can be encapsulated in two words, Pure Ecstasy. Though I could write pages, in interest of brevity, I will summarize our tour experience as follows: When booking this tour, specifically ask for Mr. Graham Dryburg and Sandy, his wingman, as your tour guides. A true highlander at heart, Mr. Graham is exceptionally knowledgeable, well versed in the Scottish history and a walking encyclopedia for worldly information which he imparts all during the tour to keep things interesting and lively. Besides being kind, respectful and a friendly person, he is a barrel of laughs when it comes to cutting jokes. He is also an extremely cautious driver and knows his way around the entire route of this trip like the back of his palm. In closing, I will say I give this touring company and their tour guide not only 5 stars but two thumbs up as well. After our 3 day tour, we left feeling that we saw and learned so much about beautiful Scotland than we ever did before. In conclusion, we highly recommend taking this tour.

Very nice tour with Viator company. The tour guy name Baddy from Glasgow who’s very experienced n showed us the most beautiful area included history sharing. I definitely will book again with this company
Great trip!

Lovely scenic drives and castles. Our driver, Moray, took us to some great spots and he told us plenty of stories about the area. It's a great way to see the Highlands and visit some cool places like Loch Ness, the Fairy Pools on Skye, and Culloden.

Missing the visitor centre experience at Culloden for which we mainly booked the golden wedding tour, was very upsetting. Our driver/guide, who was generally very pleasant, said he was “not interested” in the site. So what? He took us to the battlefield at 8.30. Unsurprisingly the centre, with its exhibits and film, doesn’t open until 10am. So after a brief stop, we went to the ancient cairs 3 miles away, returning to continue our journey, passing right by Culloden at 10am as the centre was opening. There was also “no time” for the Loch Ness boat trip or Glencoe he said and got us back to Edinburgh by the absurdly early 4pm. His knowledge was clearly restricted and he needs more training. The three day trip also needs to be reconfigured so that it does not stop in Inverness for two nights, forcing a long trip to Skye for the day and then all the way back to Inverness again. No pandemic excuses please. We won’t be booking again.

A great way to maximise on the Scottish experience
, Aug 2020
A great way to explore and maximise on the Scottish experience within a short time. Yes, it is a coach oriented tour (as clearly indicated at the time of booking) and thus it requires a fair amount of driving time. However, you benefit from visiting and admiring loads of scenic beauty spots and locations that otherwise you most likely would miss, let alone you need to know where these are in a first place. Also, if you are interested in the history of Scotland, its folklore, curiosities and stories... you are on winner. Our Scottish guide (Steve) could not have been more knowledgeable and the driving was made utterly enjoyable just listening to him and his stories. The accommodation we stayed in at Skye was home away (thanks Christine and Hamish) and a great addition to the overall tour experience. To top things up we had sunny clear skies during the three days; definitely a winner up North. Overall a truly unforgettable experience!

Isle of Skye Trip of a Lifetime
, Mar 2020
Steven H was our guide, bus driver, and all around good sport to be with! He was informative, efficient, professional, and very organized. He filled our three days with the scheduled stops, but also threw in a lot of "surprise" stops, where we trekked through the woods to see an incredible waterfall, stopped along cliff edges for beautiful views, and all while giving us a taste of the local legends and lore, as well as playing a variety of Scottish artists and groups with modern and traditional songs and music. At all times, he made sure everyone had a good time.
Enchanting and Spellbinding Isle.

Isle of Skye promises you everything you have read about it. Mystical places, rainbows, waterfalls, jagged rocky coastline.

Very Good Tour
, Nov 2019
I traveled with my family. We were 4 adults. We were fortunate to have sunshine during our 3 day Isle of Skye and Highlands Tour and our driver , Nick was very good. He wasn't rushing us and was very informative and helpful . The scenery was fantastic and we toured so many areas. I would have given this a 5 star but our bed and breakfast place kept switching off the heater at night and it was cold..we did not appreciate that at all. Over all, we were very satisfied with the tour.
Wonderful Highlands Tour

Please know that traveling off season was by far a wonderful experience with the tour we took to Isle of Skye for 3 days. Great Tour Driver and full of fun information and education. I have used this tour operator for more than one country and had good results.
Wonderful Highland Tour

Our 3-day Isle of Skye and Highland tour was wonderful. Davey was our guide and driver and he was very knowledgeable, navigated the rough terrain well, and kept us to an aggressive schedule. The tour was well organized to see a lot in a few short days. If you have a short amount of time but want to see the highlights, this is a great option!
