Excellent trip to the Plantation - garden were nice but in later Fall so likely more majestic in summer We did have sightings of alligators on the tram ride - House was well preserved and with period furnishings from the family - Guide was excellent and I would recommend this site - transportation and time spent there was just enough

Nice, but felt rushed with little time to enjoy

Plantation and grounds were very nice. Easy bus ride from Charleston. Wish we had more time there. The tour was 4.5 hrs and spanned lunch time and we were given very little time to get lunch at the small cafe and enjoy it before having to go to the plantation tour. We were also rushed after the tour ended to get on the bus to return to Charleston and barely had time to use the rest room. There also was no time to explore the grounds on our own.

Lovely house and gardens. Not for anyone who has mobility issues, but definitely a nice day outing if you can get around.

Our tram driver who was also our tour guide to the slave quarters. A black woman whose name I have forgotten. She was perfect in every way.

Great tour and experience of the old south with the most beautiful gardens I’ve ever seen! The heritage and history was comprehensive and the food shack for snacks and gift shop were excellent! The wildlife did not disappoint!
