This tour was the most informative and well presented tour that I've ever taken. Captain Jim is obviously passionate about his city and its history. He is extremely knowledgeable about Charleston's history. He also knows about varous architecture styles. He is a marvelous ambassador for this Beautiful city.

Doing Charleston in a Day

Our tour was fine. Interesting history. The only main issue is that our tour guide would not look out for those at the end of the tour group. We got stuck at the end because of others cutting us walking then no one waited for us re: vehicles crossing, etc. It was clear that those who rushed to the front got a more informative tour than those who were stuck behind. Would suggest a headphone type system that may help and just looking out for everyone in the tour.

We are disappointed to hear that the tour did not completely live up to your expectations and are thankful for your feedback as it helps us to know what we may need to improve upon. Laurence was a great guide. He shared his love of Charleston with our group.. One of my favorite parts was an alley where the guide pointed out a young slaves hand print.in the bricks. The young children were made to work making bricks.
