Mark Jones was our tour guide. He was AWESOME!!!! He was an 8th or 9th generation S. Carolinian. He was also a double major in American and English history. As a result, his tour was extremely interesting, peppered with personal anecdotes that only someone born and raised here could have made. Learned a lot. He was also funny and personable. Recommend it to anyone.

Kay was a terrific food guide! She was a great speaker and answered all of our questions and always kept it interesting. We had been on a couple other tours and the info our guides were giving was repetitive. Kay gave us unique stories and historical facts. She also stayed with us and gave us her favorite spots. Thanks Kay! Cristina + Eric

Mark has a passion for his hometown and leads it in a way that you leave with a better understanding of Charlestown - "chaaallsten" as he would pronounce it - and the history behind it. Highly recommend!!

Our guide did a great job - very well informed on any questions asked and it was just a really fun tour. It was really unique to see the alleys and learn some of the smaller pieces of history about the city.
