Went in to Boston for business and decided to go visit Salem for a couple of days in the off time. We took the ferry back and it was such an easy, safe and convenient experience. The 20-year-old guide was funny, charming and informative. I wish there was more history on the ride but overall a great ride for the price and cheaper than an Uber!

It is such a great option to use instead of Uber. We loved the scenery and the fresh air. This was the best mode of travel for us. A trolley car was waiting there to give us a free ride to the visitors center. I appreciated this so much because we didn’t know where to begin in Salem. We were given a free tourist guide to the town, which we used the whole day. I definitely recommend this Ferry to anyone wanting to travel from Boston to Salem.

It was a great overall experience BUT we nearly missed our ferry because we went to Long Wharf - and it boarded on the other side of the Marriot- no information in the e-mails, no signs at the wharf. So beware fellow travellers!

This was convenient and pleasant way to get from Boston to Salem (we were meeting for dinner there). Comfortable cruise. Buying the tickets online using viator worked well, and not sure if the price was better than walking up, but at least I was able to get a spot reserved.
