A moving experience
, Sep 2021
Our guide, Ernistina, made this experience truly exceptional. Her knowledge and insights about the history of the camp, as well as the history which led up to Nazi Germany, and then the aftermath of the Soviet control of East Germany, made this one of the best tours I’ve taken in Europe. I highly recommend this tour especially if you can have Ernistina as your guide.
will not be coming back

this trip didn't happen. only 3 out of the 6 registered attendees showed up, so the guide cancelled it.

This is a very educative and whole grounded tour. A must do when you visit Berlin and I highly recommed the tour guide Chris as he is very helpful and give you a very humane view of this harrowing place
Moving and insightful tour

I’d highly recommend this moving, powerful and really insightful tour. Ernestina was a thoughtful guide who was thoroughly versed on the site’s history (and other areas of Berlin’s history). She was business-like, efficient, and very friendly (happy to answer all questions to a high degree) and had curated a really special tour for the group. She also looked out for the welfare of the group - it is a particularly emotional draining day. I would happily take any of her tours again.
Insightful and touching day

George was a great guide. While this was a hard day and a lot to take in, George told true stories, shared historical facts, and brought history to life. For anyone looking for a historical experience with real life stories to truly understand what happened, this is for you. Highly highly recommend. Some logistics - you're on your feet and walking for several hours, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Also bring a snack and water, as there are is no food available. We went in December and were comfortable in a warm winter coat.
A detailed and deep impacting tour

Elizabeth was an excellent tour guide. She narrated everything with great empathy. I would really recommend to take this tour. We read about the holocaust in books and watch in movies, but standing on the grounds where the actual happenings took place is a different experience altogether. Even though the tour itself can be a quite depressing, one should visit the place that witnessed one of the most dark chapters in the history of genocide.
Moving and eye-opening
