The magnificent Charlottenburg Palace is one of the most famous sites in Berlin, a former summer residence for the House of Hohenzollern, a dynasty of former princes, electors, kings and emperors. Today, the palace and grounds are a major visitor’s attraction.

This evening of classical music and fine dining at the palace begins with a 3-course, candlelight dinner in the magnificent Orangery, a sophisticated ballroom that combines the luxury of centuries past with all the amenities of modern life — perfect for receptions and dinners. Enjoy a seasonal selection of exquisite dishes with a vegetarian option, if desired. One dinner example would be potato-ginger soup with lemon oil and thinly sliced rosemary ham; filet of Brandenburg pork in puff pastry served in a ragout of apples, savoy cabbage and mushrooms with a peppered cherry sauce; and a chocolate tart a la Sophie Charlotte with gold-sprinkled crème and spiced pears. 

After dinner, proceed to the auditorium for a concert with the Berlin Residence Orchestra. Choose from four ticket categories: VIP, A, B and C — referring to the front-to-back seating, respectively, in the concert venue. VIP guests enjoy preferred seating for the concert with a glass of champagne during intermission. The orchestra is comprised of renowned musicians from Berlin, with a particular understanding and love for music of the late baroque and classical era. The program includes selections by famous composers like Bach, Handel, Mozart and more.

We enjoyed the evening enormously, full of theatricality, good atmosphere was created in the Orangery Dining room food was good but with a limited choice but service was excellent. The music of Vivaldi and Bach was played with virtuosity. The only possible improvement would be better signage

Overall food not really good. 1st course excellent 10/10. Then downhill. Next was Duck the smallest leg i have ever seen also overcooked very dry. We also had wgat looked like bread pudding with it no taste at all very poor. Asked waiter what it was they did not know. Then choclate genace. Not chocolate genace at all verg dry sponge around an uncooked pear. Poor.

The dinner was good and the service was good. We enjoyed the experience however after a long day of taking a bike tour, it was difficult to sit through a classical music concert. The musicians were quite good but there was no air conditioning and it was very warm in the room. We left at intermission time to walk the gardens. The gardens were beautiful but I wish they took a little more pride in weeding and caring for the grounds. Over all it's worth the time and money spent. If I were to do it again I would have paid a little more to take the palace tour We only did the dinner and concert.

Had a very enjoyable evening with friends. We were all happy we did this event. Staff were exceptional and took care of everything. Dinner was a very nice experience, we didn't book early enough for my friends to arrange vegetarian meals, but I loved the veal. After dinner we moved to the concert hall, we were 3rd row so had an unobstructed view and throughly enjoyed both sets. A phenomenal evening, I would highly recommend this event.

The dinner and concert were both very good. The palace was very pretty figuring out just where to enter for the dinner proved to be a challenge, but we made it!. Service at the dinner could have been a lot better since they simply ignored us and we had to ask to be served and again ask for more water. They were attentive only to some of the diners. The concert was excellent except that the venue was so HOT - with no fans or anything else to cool it off - that some people had to leave instead of passing out.
