Fun river paddling in Asheville

We truly enjoyed the 5 mile inflatable kayaking down the river. The quide, Leslie, was really nice, knowledgeable on birds and history and steered us safely through the rocks. After the tour she also gave us great tips on places and restaurants to visit. We didn’t fall off the kayak, but you do get wet, so wear clothing and shoes that can get wet. All in all a great way to spend 3 hours in Asheville.

Staff was initially engaging and did a great job of keeping us safe. They are young and very skilled kids, so I think they lost interest towards the end. They could’ve engaged with the group more. By the time we were finished, they were both in the front, sharing and having fun together with that much concerned for the participants.The description stated that we ended with a beer, but that was not provided. We were told that they would be pictures available, but after they said that nothing else was ever said about it.
