A splendid day that exceeded our expectations.

We thoroughly enjoyed the day with our tour guide Franc. His knowledge of the wine industry was impressive and authentic. We visited two wineries and were surprised to be able to tour so many of their facilities. The wine tasting was superb and we had the opportunity to purchase our favorites. One of the wineries is a 5th generation operation and we met the winemaker and his wife. It was a lovely experience. We stopped for a 3-course lunch in a quaint restaurant that was superb. Our guide and all of the people that we encountered on this tour were cheerful, friendly, and engaging. We cannot thank Franc enough for an experience that we will always remember.
