Peles Castle (Castelul Peles)

Aleea Peleșului 2, Sinaia, Romania

The Basics

The interior of Peles Castle is richly adorned with carvings, inlay, antiques, and artworks, and can be seen only on guided tours. Join a shorter tour of the ground floor only, or a longer tour that includes the upper level of the palace.

Day trips and multi-day tours of Transylvania often combine Peles Castle with visits to other historic landmarks in the region, such as Bran Castle and Râșnov Fortress. You can also explore both Peles Castle and Pelisor Castle, an art-nouveau-style royal residence on the same estate.

Dracula's Castle, Peles Castle and Brasov Small Group Tour from Bucharest
Our guide Emanuel is a superb guide, he was informative, very helpful, drive very well, recommend a very good restaurant and answer everything I ask. I would give a 5 star for him and his clean van. I only give 4 because peles castle was closed on Monday and we couldn’t enter but I don’t have other dates and if i know I would book other tour.

Small-Group Day Trip to Dracula's Castle, Brasov and Peles Castle from Bucharest
Reasnoable price for a full day tour that involved long hours of drive across 3 different locations. Our guide, Matthew (not sure of spelling) was punctual, interactive and provided interesting information about the locations. There was sufficient time to explore and have some food, buy souvenirs etc.

Dracula's Castle, Peles Castle and Brasov Small Group Tour from Bucharest
I had a fantastic time on the tour. It was great having a small group (max 8), so it was easy to catch all the information. There was a good balance of guided time and free time to look around. Pick up was prompt and the phone call beforehand was ideal. Ovi, the tour guide, went above and beyond. He gave us a lot of information and answered a broad range questions. He has a great personality that made the tour enjoyable and fun!

Premium Tour Peles Castle, Bran Dracula Castle and Rasnov Fortress From Brasov
Mimi our guide was friendly and very informative. She knew so much about the castles we visited. She also stopped whenever we wanted so we could get coffee or food. She understood my friend couldn't walk too far and made allowances for that and sat with him whilst I wandered about.
