Peles Castle (Castelul Peles)

Aleea Peleșului 2, Sinaia, Romania

The Basics

The interior of Peles Castle is richly adorned with carvings, inlay, antiques, and artworks, and can be seen only on guided tours. Join a shorter tour of the ground floor only, or a longer tour that includes the upper level of the palace.

Day trips and multi-day tours of Transylvania often combine Peles Castle with visits to other historic landmarks in the region, such as Bran Castle and Râșnov Fortress. You can also explore both Peles Castle and Pelisor Castle, an art-nouveau-style royal residence on the same estate.

Great trip to Bran Castle and Rasnov Fortress
We loved our tour guide, Tiberius, and the overall trip. A great experience for those looking to learn more about Romanian history beyond Dracula!

Small-Group Day Trip to Dracula's Castle, Brasov and Peles Castle from Bucharest
Myself and one friend did this tour with our tour guide Serban. He was very knowledgable and friendly, and tried to accommodate everyone on the trip all day with different requests people had. I would definitely recommend this trip to people looking to see Transylvania and the castles there.

Vlad and the bus driver were very nice people, very professional. I recommend this tour. Due to the traffic, we spent some time on the bus, but they entrained us with stories about Romania history and curiosity.

Bran Castle and Rasnov Fortress Tour from Brasov with Optional Peles Castle Visit
We had a fantastic tour with Tudor visiting Bran Castle and Rasnov Fortress. He was very engaging and interesting. We learnt a lot of interesting facts about the area and it’s history. On the drive back we were taken on a scenic route to a panoramic viewpoint and got great pictures of Brasov. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Brasov.

Castles Day Tour Peles - Bran - Rasnov from Brasov
Florin is a great guide. He picked me up on time at the accommodation. We went in the morning already to avoid the crowd and traffic which was a great idea. I loved his knowledge and explanations, he answered all the questions I had, and he was flexible. I had the chance to take all the time I wanted in the castles. It is clear that he is an experienced guide, so I definetly recommend this tour a lot! It is a great way to see and get to know all 3 places in 1 day.

Day trip:Peles Castle , Bran Castle and Rasnov Fortress Tour from Brasov
Peles Castle is simply amazing! I visited lots of castles in France, Denmark, Italy, and Britain, but this one is one of my favorites castles! Unfortunately, Rasnov Fortress is still in renovation, for at least 2 more years, they say.
