Mojave Desert

California

The Basics

The Mojave Desert, which lies mostly within California, also stretches into small portions of Nevada, Arizona, and Utah. Death Valley National Park is the desert’s most notable attraction, but there is much to explore here. Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, outside of Las Vegas, is popular for its rugged rock formations, while Mojave National Preserve features sand dunes, Joshua trees, and endless wildflowers.

The region attractions all kinds of visitors, from outdoorsy travelers interested in hiking and camping, to rock-climbing adventure-seekers, to those just passing through en route from Los Angeles or San Diego to Las Vegas or the Grand Canyon. Aerial Grand Canyon tours provide views of the desert from the sky, while multi-day US West road-trip tours stop at various parks and preserves.

Half-Day Mojave Desert ATV Tour from Las Vegas
This was the first time we’ve ridden ATV’s and it was a great experience! Great location about an hours drive from pick up. We rode the ATVs for about 90 mins which was plenty for our first time. Will definitely book again next time I’m in Vegas.

Half-Day Mojave Desert ATV Tour from Las Vegas
The ride was good my instructor was excellent. Not a half a day tho. Wish we could have rode a bit longer. The trail was cool but extremely bumpy. Made our ride a bit stressful on your butt but it's cool lòl. Over all would recommend

Fun guided ride

Half-Day Mojave Desert ATV Tour from Las Vegas
The riding country was good for both beginners and experienced riders, mostly sand trails. There was oppurtunity to oppurtunity to open up the throttle depending on riding position in group. If you like to have more freedom pick the last atv in your grouo.

The Highway Desert

Half-Day Mojave Desert ATV Tour from Las Vegas
Overall a pleasant experience, seamless transport with great guides and lovely scenic views of the desert. This is great for the inexperienced rider, looking for a little adventure. We felt over experienced for this type of tour, as you move at a very stop and slow go pace due to nervous riders. You are restricted to a single file, with inexperienced at the front and experienced at the back.

Great tour but bring water

Half-Day Mojave Desert ATV Tour from Las Vegas
This was a great tour. The two guides on the ATV ride were great. Keith was an excellent driver and guide. I just wish we knew to bring our own water bottles. So bring your own water bottle even thought they give you little cups of water on the tour.
