The Basics

Book in advance to catch a show at the Opry, a must for country fans and music lovers alike. Guided tours are also popular—step on stage and follow in the footsteps of countless musicians; take a backstage tour and hear behind-the-scenes stories about the venue; and peek inside dressing rooms and other backstage areas. Many Nashville sightseeing tours also pass by the exterior of the Grand Ole Opry.

Grand Ole Opry House Guided Backstage Tour in Nashville
I really enjoyed peeking in and learning about the dressing rooms. Our tour guide was funny and knowledgeable. It was also a great memory standing on the circle. I do think refreshments should be for sale.

My daughter and I did not know what to expect...we were blown away! It was terrific! Really fun, great acts, wonderful history and bright future! Very patriotic with a great love of country and God. I am not a country music fan per se, but absolutely had a wonderful time! A must see in Nashville!

Grand Ole Opry House Guided Backstage Tour in Nashville
The tour was great! However, it was very inconvenient that the tour guide was unable to scan my e-ticket provided by via toe. I had to go to the ticket office and have them printed off. Don’t go through Viator!!! Go directly through Grand Ole Opry website.
