Walking group tour of London
Denis was very flexible and the tour covered a large area. My favorite area was the Tower of London. Denis was a wonderful host and we enjoyed talking to him about his acting roles in recent British movies:).

London Classic Sightseeing Private Taxi Tour
My mom and I met in London from opposite corners of the US for a bucket list trip to England. We began with a private taxi tour led by Lawrence, and we’re so glad we did. Lawrence was an excellent guide and driver, and our private tour was so much more enjoyable than if we had taken a large bus tour. I highly recommend that you book this tour, and make sure to ask for Lawrence! :) Tell him Becky and Maria referred you.

Night Photography Tour in London
David was an awesome guide for this tour. He was able to take us to some great spots to get the best shots of the London sites. He was very attentive helping us get the best from our camera...from framing the shot to tweaking the settings for the best results. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone in the future.

Private Custom Tour: Day Tour of London
Gio was the most awesome guide we have ever used! He addressed our wants and as a matter of point went one further then needed. As we were saying our goodbyes I mentioned that we missed one stop that we originally discussed, he told us to follow him and took us there even though we were way over our scheduled time. That’s true customer service!!!

Private Custom Tour: Day Tour of London
David was our tour guide and he did an excellent job of showing us the sites of London. He was very flexible when our flight delay caused us to start a bit later than scheduled. He never made us feel rushed and had such a wealth of information. We really enjoyed our tour and David's suggestions for places to visit during our trip.

A terrific tour by all accounts. Could not be more pleased with Gio. What a gentleman! Learned so much about London from a polite and engaged tour guide! Rained on our tour day but that did nothing to slow us down! Will do this again to learn more about the great city of London!

This was hands down the highlight of our trip to London! Our tour guide, Gio, was so welcoming and knowledgeable. He met us at out hotel and took us to everything we wanted to see. We took our two daughters, ages 2 and 4, and Gio made everything so easy. Such a fun family trip! Thanks, Gio!

Private Custom Tour: Day Tour of London
Gio was an outstanding tour guide. We visited many outstanding London sites including the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. We also got to use the Tube and buses to get to different areas. The tour ended at Tower Bridge where we had a great lunch at a restaurant recommended by Gio. What a view!

We had a great day exploring London on our Private Tour with our guide Gio. He was filled with so much knowledge and gave us so much history of old and new London. He also helped us with navigating around the city and emailed me after the tour with more suggestions and advice. Thank you for a great day!!

Unexpected circumstances/wonderful guide!

Private Custom Tour: Day Tour of London
The morning of our booked tour, my husband woke up with an inflamed, very painful area in front of his ear. We knew he needed medical help. So when our guide arrived, we asked for his advice. This wonderful young man, Gio, not only guided us through the National Health Service System, he stayed with us and spent extra time until my husband had received a diagnosis and medication. Gio was so kind and compassionate, and went above and beyond. He offered to reschedule, agreed to get us to the urgent car, spent hours talking with us while we waited. It turns out we learned a lot about London just sitting and talking. Gio was very, very knowledgeable, articulate, and funny. He got us through what could have been an extremely bad experience with good humor and kindness. Then he insisted on escorting us to our next activity, even though it was well beyond our allotted time. Gio was the most amazing young man, and we will never forget his kindness and his extremely good tour of London!

When to Get There

Visit the Square Mile on a weekday evening to sip cocktails with London’s financial elite or dine at one of the area’s many top-rated restaurants. Alternatively, stroll the streets during the weekend, when the banks are closed and workers have commuted home: the best time to admire the architecture and take in the sights.

The City of London Financial District

The City of London’s history dates back 2,000 years, to Roman settlements in the waterfront district. Later, when London’s administrative center moved to Westminster, the City became a financial powerhouse, and by the 1970s it was one of the world’s most important centers of international finance. Home to the London Stock Exchange, the Baltic Shipping Exchange, and the Bank of England, the financial district turns over £2.5 trillion daily and employs more than 400,000 people.
