Universum Bremen is an expansive science museum featuring over 250 exhibits. There’s also a large outdoor area and a variety of entertaining and educational science shows suitable for all ages. The children's area features about 25 exhibits designed for kids ages 3 to 8.

The Universum has three main themed areas with interactive exhibits: The Technology section features engineering-themed exhibits, including robots and circuitry areas, while the Humans section focuses on everything from emotion to memory to the five senses. In the nature section, you can learn about life at sea and on land and even take a ride in an earthquake simulator.

Universum Bremen is situated between Bremen and Bremerhaven, right on the A27. Travelers coming from elsewhere in Germany can take a train to the Bremen railway station; the journey takes about 1 hour from Hamburg or 3 hours from Berlin. The S-Bahn (tram) number 6 connects Bremen to Universum in about 15 minutes.
